It hit the UK market at the end of 2009 to easily grab attention of people occupied with New Year weight loss resolutions.
It claims to burn up to a total of 278 more calories before, during and after exercises.
Capsiplex Ingredients
Red hot chili or capsicum extract is the main active ingredient in capliplex slimming tablet. It also has some coating ingredient to prevent concentrated chili extract’s intolerable side effects. It contains small amount of caffeine also.
How does Capsi plex work?
Red hot chilies have capsaicinoids that are responsible for its hotness. When taken in a highly concentrated form, these are proven to increase metabolic rate. This makes our body to burn more calories and thus burn fat.
How many pounds you would lose in a month with Capsiplex? – Just 3 pounds?
It claims to burn up to 278 more calories per day (as the suggested dosage is one pill a day) when combined with exercise. That means to burn 3500 calories (approximately one pound of fat), it takes 12 days. You can expect to lose up to 2.5 lbs in a month with Capsiplex when combined with exercise.
Even without Capsiplex, you can expect to lose 2.5 lbs in a month when you do some simple exercises regularly.
Is Capsiplex the Next Big thing? No

The main clinical trial finding is that it can help burn 278 more calories before, during and after exercise. But this specific study was conducted on some other brand of chili based slimming pill Capsimax that has few more ingredients other than hot chilli extracts. So the results with Capsi plex might vary from the research findings.
CapsiPlex side effects:
Concentrated red hot chile extracts cause extreme and intolerable effects on mouth, throat, stomach and bowels. But as capliplex capsules are made using some patented coating to prevent these side effects, they is less likely to cause such irritations.
As it has a very small amount of caffeine, even caffeine related adverse effects are not likely.
Is Capsiplex a scam?
Though it is not a wonder slimming pill, it doesn’t look like a scam. The official website gives details of company and contact address. Even the clinical study findings are disclosed on its official website.
But definitely Capsiplex is not worth the hype it has created. It looks like a fad diet pill.
